With so many busy people in today's world, personal chef services have become a hot business. We all want to feed our families well-proportioned meals, but just don't seem to have the time. Personal chef Tricia Friedman operates the Food Fairy out of Ladera Ranch. Friedman also serves Rancho Santa Margarita and other areas of south Orange County.

Friedman started her business two months ago and certainly picked a good time, with the holiday rush beginning. Her services include customized menu creation, complete grocery shopping and meal preparation in the client's home. Friedman guarantees that a client will never see the same meal twice in a six-month period.

The first thing she does when a client calls is conduct a comprehensive interview to determine food preferences and any dietary requirements. This is the time to voice your opinion about likes and dislikes.

Friedman then creates the menus, shops for the items and prepares the entrees complete with labels and reheating instructions. Each client receives their next menu in advance. Some clients arrange for a personal chef service every other week, others find a montly service fits their needs. Any schedule can be arranged.
